We primarily use the taping process for multi-wire harnesses. It is automated and repeatable.
Taping involves locally insulating wires using appropriately selected tape. It allows us to bundle several wires into a single branch and helps shape the harness accordingly. Taping protects the wires from damage and contamination, while also damping potential noise in applications where the harness is used flexibly.
We execute projects that involve taping both simple and complex, long electrical harnesses with diameters of up to 35 mm. For each one, we design the most efficient process possible to ensure the desired product parameters are achieved.
For production, we utilize a wide range of tapes and taping methods, such as overlap taping and spiral taping.
For all types of taping, we use advanced taping machines, ensuring consistent results while maintaining high process efficiency.
Manual taping is performed by experienced operators in areas where machine application is not possible.
We ensure quality that meets the Client’s requirements through a skilled workforce, precise machines, and measurement jigs at workstations. In-process quality control combined with a stable process enables us to achieve the highest quality of taped harnesses.
